Karl Klotz, Steve Redick, and Larry Shapiro recently toured all five stations of the McHenry Township Fire Protection District to review the latest updates. Alongside the introduction of new equipment, this is part of a broader initiative across the area for departments to renumber their apparatus. During the visit, several new and upgraded units were captured in photos. These included three ambulances, two engines, two tenders, and a brand-new boat. The department has significantly expanded its resources, especially with the addition of multiple tenders. McHenry has transitioned from having just one tender to now operating with three, with each station except the downtown location equipped with one. The new twin 3,500-gallon tenders were manufactured by US Tanker on IHC 7500 chassis with extended cabs. Tender 1272 is stationed at Station 2, while Tender 1274 is located at Station 4. Each unit features a 500-GPM pump and is designed for efficient water supply during emergencies. In terms of engine upgrades, two Pierce Impel XM units have been deployed since the last update, with one being relocated. These new engines are built on the Impel XM chassis rather than the previous Velocity model. Engine 41 is now based at Station 1, and Engine 43 is at Station 3. Engine 44 at Station 4 was previously Engine 10 at Station 1. Two more engines are currently on order, arriving every six months. The ambulance fleet has also seen major changes. The newest unit is a 2013 Type I Osage ambulance stationed at Station 4, labeled as Ambulance 54. Another new ambulance, a 2012 Type I AEV, is now at Station 1 as Ambulance 51. Additionally, Ambulance 52, a 2010 Osage Type I, has been added to Station 2. These updates reflect a modernization effort aimed at improving emergency response capabilities. A new boat, Boat 1292, was also introduced. It’s a 24-foot rigid-hull vessel built by Clark Boats in 2013 and is stationed at Station 2. This addition enhances the department's ability to respond to water-related incidents. Overall, the McHenry Township FPD continues to invest in new equipment and infrastructure, ensuring that each station is well-equipped to serve the community effectively.

5 Series Explosion-proof Coal Safety Proportional Multi-way Valve

The directional spool valves types PSL and PSV serve to control both, the direction of movement and the load-independent, stepless velocity of the hydraulic consumers. In this way several consumers may be moved simultaneously, independently from each other at different velocity and pressure ratings, as long as the sum of the partial flows needed for this is within the total delivery supplied by the pump. The proportional spool valves of this pamphlet are designed as valve banks and consist of three functional groups:
