Autodesk showcased Dynamo Studio, Insight 360, and Project Expo Tech Preview at AIA 2016. Earlier this week, we started a conversation about the evolving role of architects and our shared mission with you. In our previous post, we highlighted how most of Autodesk’s tools are now seamlessly connected to a Revit core—making your workflow faster, smoother, and more efficient. We introduced the concept of extended BIM, aiming to simplify your life and your team's work. Let’s dive deeper into how Autodesk is helping you boost productivity and elevate your design process at AIA 2016. **Save Time, Save Money: Dynamo and Computational Design** Computational design is on the rise, based on the idea that any design problem can be modeled as an abstract system with clear logic, which can then be solved through computation. In short, computational design in architecture uses computing power to generate complex geometries and objects. In the past, creating and updating dynamic models was time-consuming and inefficient. However, Dynamo, a powerful visual programming environment, offers a solution. Powered by the Dynamo engine and accessible via Dynamo for Revit and Autodesk Dynamo Studio, it allows designers to create and modify models visually within a Revit environment. Dynamo Studio, launched at AIA 2015, is a standalone tool that enables parametric design exploration and task automation without being tied to Revit. Dynamo also supports interoperable workflows for documentation, fabrication, coordination, simulation, and analysis. With its intuitive interface, Dynamo makes it easy to iterate quickly on design concepts. Sean Burke from NBBJ shared how his team used Dynamo to extract data from legacy DWG files and convert them into intelligent Revit elements. This process saved the firm approximately 1,650 hours on a project involving 75 buildings. As Burke put it, “It was the single most impactful workflow on the project.” Dynamo User Groups are growing globally, as smart designers share innovative workflows that save time, money, and headaches. Visit Booth 3531 at AIA 2016 to learn more about Dynamo Studio and its integration with Revit. **Save the World: Design for Optimal Building Performance with Insight 360** At Greenbuild 2015, Autodesk introduced Insight 360, and it will be one of the highlights of our AIA 2016 exhibit. Insight 360 gives architects centralized access to building energy and environmental performance data, along with advanced analysis engines. It integrates smoothly with BIM and provides real-time feedback based on industry benchmarks like Architecture 2030 and ASHRAE 90.1. Ryan Hess from Mills Group in West Virginia shared how Insight 360 helped his firm streamline their design process. Before Insight 360, they relied on multiple energy modeling tools with clunky interfaces. Now, with Insight 360 and Revit, they can justify design decisions with clients, showing that features are functional, not just aesthetic. Visit our booth to see Insight 360 in action. **Blow Your Clients’ Minds: Project Expo Tech Preview** Visualization is key in the AEC industry, and Autodesk understands that. That’s why we’re excited to offer a tech preview of Project Expo at AIA 2016. Built on the Autodesk Stingray game engine, Project Expo allows real-time, immersive visualization of Revit models across desktops and mobile devices. Heather Johnston of PLACE architect, Ltd., emphasized the challenge of capturing the true essence of a space in visuals. With Project Expo, architects can bring their visions to life more effectively than ever before. Project Expo streamlines the rendering process, offering a one-button solution for high-quality visuals. Joel Pennington, a product manager, explained that no other platform combines Revit, 3ds Max, and Stingray in such a seamless way. Join us at Booth 3531 on May 19 at 11 AM for a live demo of Project Expo. **Evolving Together** As you visit AIA 2016 in Philadelphia, remember that Autodesk is here to support you. The architectural industry is changing, and we’re evolving alongside you. Our products, team, and services are designed to meet the needs of your future. On May 11, we launched “The Revit Station,” a new crowdsourced platform where users can submit ideas and track their progress. It’s a first for Autodesk, and we’re excited to hear from you. Stop by our booth to share your experiences, give feedback, or simply say hello. We're always listening and committed to improving your workflow. **Autodesk Class/Theater Schedules, Demos, and Experts** For full details on all Autodesk activities at AIA 2016—including classes, theater sessions, and expert demos—visit our event page. Don’t forget to stop by Booth 3531 to speak with a product expert and explore the latest in BIM technology.

Plastic Film

PEEK is a high temperature resistant thermoplastic, with high glass transition temperature (143℃) and melting point (334℃), load heat deformation temperature up to 316℃ (30% glass fiber or carbon fiber reinforced grade)

PEEK(Polyether ether ketone) resin is a kind of high performance special thermoplastic material, which is one of the most important varieties of commercial polyether ketone resins. At present, polyether ether ketone is widely used in petroleum, food processing, automobile, aerospace and other fields with its excellent electrical properties, mechanical properties, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and so on.

PEEK rods

Model and color of PEEK rod:

1, PEEK5600G (brown gray/earth yellow) using pure polyether ether ketone resin as raw material manufacturing, in all PEEK levels of good toughness, good impact resistance. PEEK can be sterilized by convenient disinfection methods (steam, drying heat, ethanol and Y-ray), and the raw materials of PEEK meet the requirements of the European Union and the United States FDA for food suitability. These characteristics make it very popular in the medical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries.

2, PEeK-5600LF30 (black) add PTFE, graphite and carbon fiber results, make

Peek-5600lf30 becomes bearing grade plastic. Its superior friction properties (low friction coefficient, wear resistance, high peak pressure limit) make this grade an ideal material for friction applications.

3, PEEK-5600GF30 (brown gray) the material filled with 30% glass fiber reinforced plastic, has better rigidity and creep resistance than PEEK5600G, as well as better dimensional stability, the manufacturing of structural parts is ideal. It can withstand fixed load for a long time at high temperature. If the PEEK-5600GF30 is used as a sliding part, its adaptability should be carefully checked because the glass fiber scratches the mating surface.

4, PEeK-5600CF30 (black) The material filled with 30% carbon fiber reinforced, has better mechanical properties than PeeK-5600GF30 (higher elastic modulus, mechanical strength and creep) and more wear resistance, And the carbon-fiber reinforced plastic has 3.5 times the thermal conductivity of the unreinforced PEEK plastic and dissipates heat faster from the bearing surface.

Second, PEEK specifications: the following units are mm (mm)

PEEK bar: Diameter 3 ~ 260×1000 (3000 can be customized according to requirements) (if not above specifications, our company can supply product size, length and width specifications can be zero cut)
