Here's a message from Eric Haak:

These are some photos from a Still & Box Alarm fire that occurred on the 6600 block of South Oakley in Chicago. The call came in at 09:36 AM, and the scene was immediately boxed due to reports of people trapped inside. Engine 101 arrived first and confirmed a basement fire at a single-story, family home. An elderly woman was pulled out of the house, but it's unclear whether it was firefighters or civilians who carried her. She was taken to the hospital and was conscious when paramedics arrived. It took me about ten minutes to get to the scene after the alarm was called, so that gives you a rough timeline.

I've included a photo of Engine 123 with a memorial decal for Captain Johnson placed under the driver’s side windshield. These images capture the intensity of the situation and the quick response from the crew. I hope they help tell the story of what happened that morning.
