Hey everyone,
Just got back from checking out the new setup over at Orland Fire Protection District. I swung by on Saturday, March 21st, 2015, and managed to snap some photos of their latest additions and updates.
First off, they’ve got this brand-new engine that’s looking sharp. Along with that, Ambulance 4 has been upgraded, and Truck 4 now sports a fresh look with a black stripe added. It's definitely an improvement in terms of aesthetics and visibility.
One of the standout pieces is the 2013 Ford coupled with a 2008 Road Rescue Box. It's a solid combination and seems like it will be a reliable workhorse for them. And then there’s the 2014 Pierce Impel, which looks sleek and professional—definitely a step up from older models. They’ve also got another 2014 Pierce Impel, which is equally impressive.
In addition to these, there’s a 2004 Pierce Lance that’s still holding its own. It’s been around for a while but has clearly been well-maintained. There are a few other apparatuses too, each with their own unique features and upgrades.
I have to give credit to Kevin Griffin for taking such great photos. His shots really capture the details of each vehicle. The quality of the images is top-notch, and they provide a clear view of how these vehicles look in action.
Overall, it seems like Orland FPD is making some smart investments in their fleet. These updates should help them better serve the community and respond more effectively to emergencies. I’m always impressed when departments take the initiative to modernize their equipment.
