President of the Cook County Board paid a visit to NIPSTA today and got a close look at some of the regional assets that have either been partially or fully funded by the county. The event showcased several MABAS specialty units, with the ILTF-1 starting a multi-day training exercise. Air One brought four helicopters to the site, and the NIPSTA fire training sessions were underway. Tim Olk and Larry Shapiro attended the event and shared numerous photos capturing the displays.
