Midea Air-conditioner Guangzhou Nanshazhi Industrial Park has opened its first smart factory for the first time. It is the first air-conditioner manufacturing smart factory in China and even in the world. It is reported that this intelligent factory has two intelligent production lines and nearly 200 robots. As of 2015, "US Air-conditioning Intelligent Manufacturing" has invested a total of 1 billion yuan, the average automation rate has reached 16.9%, while the air-conditioning industry's current automation rate is an average of 7%. US Air Conditioning currently uses 562 robots and saves 22,000 workers. It can be seen that the intelligent manufacturing capability of Midea Air Conditioning can not be underestimated. Now it has a leading production line for smart home appliances and automation in China, and has seized the commanding heights of the intelligent industry in the home appliance industry, and has become a model for the home appliance industry.
