Global Marine Security Technologies, Inc., which has been involved in the development of ship safety, tracking, monitoring and video surveillance systems for the tenth year, recently announced the launch of its next-generation secure video solution, the GOST Watch High Definition (HD) Internet Video Recorder (IVR). The new video surveillance system features a 4TB hard drive - for capturing and storing video of a modern yacht - the drive helps continuously record and store up to six cameras for 90 days of video. This GOST Watch HD IVR system supports the highest resolution video recording of any GOST company or third-party analog camera with GOST Watch HD analog-to-digital conversion gateway (GWHD-A/D gateway). The footage can be viewed on the boat and downloaded to a computer or USB thumb drive or remotely controlled via the GOST Watch HD password protected website. The secure GOST Watch HD portal provides navigation aids with quick check, location and calendar lookup tools; time and date stamping videos; and an easy-to-use file export utility. The GOST Watch HD portal includes a newly designed video recording interface that is fast and easy to access and store. If the connection is lost or interrupted, the user can also play back the High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) or Video Output (VGA) via the ship's TV or Multi-Function Display (MFD). Video files can be converted to a compressed video output rate (640 X 480) stored on the GOST Watch HD IVR system using a custom H.264/MJPEG equivalent to a 20-second frame double codec. The GOST Watch HD IVR system can collect video without using the onboard cellular or satellite internet connection.
