Tianwei independently developed the highest voltage level 800kV shunt reactor in China
On August 20th, Baoding Tianwei Baobian Electric Co., Ltd. announced a major breakthrough—the successful trial production of the BKD-60000kVar (Qianwei)/800kV reactor, specifically designed for the second phase expansion project of China’s newly built 750kV Guanting Substation. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s technological development and highlights its growing influence in the power equipment industry.
Developed independently by Tianwei Baobian, this reactor is not only the first of its kind in China but also the highest voltage reactor currently in operation within the country.
