Product Description
     The YPS Series gearbox is specifically designed to match inverted parallel twin screw extruders. The main components are manufactured using carburizing, quenching, hardening, and gear grinding processes. Its precision reaches Grade 6 (ISO1328-1:1995). A thrust bearing with over-specification is installed at the front end of the hollow output shaft to handle the back pressure from the screws. This unit is compact, has high load capacity, operates stably, produces low noise, and is energy efficient.
Key Features
1. The housing is made from spheroidal graphite casting, offering rigidity, flatness, and a beautiful finish after multi-dimensional machining.
2. The driving components of the reduction gearbox and distributor box are made from ordinary steel and ultra-strength alloyed case-hardened steel, using carburizing, quenching, and gear grinding technologies. Critical parts undergo surface peening treatment. Tooth surface hardness ranges from HRC54–62, core hardness from HRC30–40, and gear precision is Grade 6. This ensures high efficiency, strength, and low noise.
3. Bearings are designed for a lifespan between 20,000 and 50,000 hours.
4. An external forced lubrication and cooling system enhances lubrication and cooling performance, ensuring reliable operation and easy maintenance.
