Yesterday afternoon (January 22, 2015), the Harvey Fire Department responded to a second-alarm fire at a residence located at 192 East 157th Street. The images below were captured by photographers Josh Boyajian and Tim Olk.
According to Josh Boyajian, they were en route from Merrionette Park when they received the call. By the time they arrived, Harvey firefighters were already on the scene, tackling the blaze that was primarily concentrated on the first floor. However, significant fire was still visible on the second floor. The crew faced challenges due to the structure of the house, which made it difficult to extinguish the flames completely. Their efforts, however, prevented the fire from spreading to the neighboring house to the east. Below are some photos he took from the incident:

These photographs capture the intense smoke and flames that engulfed the building, as well as the brave efforts of the firefighters who worked tirelessly to control the situation.
It's always inspiring to see how communities come together during emergencies like this, with first responders risking their lives to protect others. If anyone has more information or additional photos from the scene, feel free to share them in the comments below.
Stay safe everyone!
