# Drilling Motors Oil Field Equipment Downhole Motor is a type of mud-powered downhole tool, designed to convert hydraulic energy into mechanical force. It consists of five main components: the drive shaft assembly, universal shaft assembly, motor assembly, anti-out assembly, and the bypass valve assembly. When mud flows through the bypass valve into the motor under a specific pressure, it drives the motor's rotor and stator system. This rotation is then transferred via the universal shaft and drive shaft to the drill bit. ## Drilling Motor Structure Assembly The drilling motor operates as a Positive Displacement Motor (PDM). High-pressure drilling fluid enters the motor, converting fluid power into mechanical energy. This energy propels the rotor, which in turn rotates the shaft and the drill bit. ### Classification 1. **Bent Housing Motor** We offer various configurations including fixed bend, single bend, double bend, and adjustable bend housing motors (with an adjustable angle ranging from 0 to 3 degrees). These options cater to diverse kickoff requirements in different drilling scenarios. 2. **High-Temperature Motor** Our drilling motors operate within temperature ranges of ≤120°C, 120–150°C, and 150–175°C, ensuring reliable performance even in extreme environments. 3. **Hollow Rotor Motor** To enhance hydraulic horsepower and improve mud stream velocity, the rotor is manufactured with a hollow design featuring nozzles. As a result, the motor's total flow rate equals the sum of the flow rates through the seal cavity and the rotor. 4. **Even Wall Motor** This type of motor strengthens the impact and deformation resistance of the rubber lining on the stator housing's inner surface. It prevents issues like rubber aging and shedding during the vulcanization process, thereby optimizing the rubber's vulcanization and extending the motor's lifespan. Additionally, under the same pressure drop, the motor's size can be reduced, and its kickoff rate can be further enhanced. 5. **Rotor Coating Technology** Regular chrome plating is available per client specifications.
