Saturday afternoon (May 21, 2016), Northbrook firefighters were called to the intersection of Dundee and Waukegan Roads to handle a serious accident involving a car and a motorcycle. According to eyewitnesses, the collision was severe enough to send the motorcyclist flying through the windshield of the car. Miraculously, the rider remained conscious and was quickly transported to Lutheran General Hospital after being successfully freed by the firefighters.
