Question: How much oil can be saved by lightweight transformation?

Technician: If the vehicle's vehicle weight is reduced by 10%, the fuel efficiency can be increased by 6%-8%. The all-aluminum semi-trailer developed by Haotong Automotive has achieved a weight reduction of 3.4 tons and a weight reduction of 34% while ensuring its excellent performance. The vehicle can save 45,000 liters of oil during its life cycle, reducing 110 tons of CO2 emissions. By reducing the wind resistance of the fuel-saving technology research, to achieve a 100 km fuel consumption reduction of 2.15L, energy-saving effect is outstanding.

Question: Will lightweighting be achieved through cutting corners?

Technician: Yutong Automotive mainly uses a wealth of lightweight structural design techniques. The patented material SN350, high-speed rail and aviation-grade aluminum are used in one-piece extrusion. The aluminum profiles are light in weight and higher in strength than ordinary steel. The technical parameters of the vehicle design fully comply with the national standards.

Question: Will the weight reduction of vehicles lead to higher prices?

Technician: Due to the high cost of technical design and material input, the price will be high. Consumers should not only care about the original price, but should also consider the economic benefits created by the vehicle during its life cycle. According to the "Road Safety Protection Regulations," the total weight of trucks must not exceed 55 tons. Under the condition of not overloading, to achieve maximum unloading, the aluminum alloy semi-trailer loses 3.4 tons in weight, which means 3.4 tons of Dora cargo. The fuel-saving effect of empty vehicles is obvious. In addition, it also has the advantages of easy maintenance, high recycling rate and long service life.

Question: Is the body lighter and safer?

Technician: The high-intensity processing technology adopted by Haotong Auto adopts the machining and manufacturing technology of the motor vehicle profile. All of them adopt the integral extruded profile, the strength of the car body is high, and the anti-rising car capability is strong. Air suspension is used in the lower panel configuration.
