2. The rotating ratchet should be able to drive the differential cylinder to rotate flexibly. During the whole process, there must be no phenomenon of the friction between the differential cylinder and the fixed sleeve.
3. After the differential cylinder is fixed by hand or the micrometer screw is fastened with a locking mechanism, the rotary ratchet will emit a crisp “click” sound, which means that the ratchet is good.
4, before each use, should verify its accuracy. The accuracy check method is as follows.
a. 0-25mm micrometer, the micrometer screw can be rotated so that the end surface of the micrometer screw is in contact with the anvil end face, to see if the two measuring surfaces are parallel, the "O" line of the fixed sleeve and the "O" line of the differential tube are heavy, If not, adjust or remember the difference.
b. Micrometers larger than 25-50mm are equipped with a calibration rod. The calibration rod is placed between the anvil and the two ends of the micrometer screw and can be calibrated according to the first method.
c. The specific calibration method of the micrometer is to make the two end surfaces of the anvil and the micrometer screw fit together, hold the differential tube in one hand, and insert a special small span spanner into the lock mother on the end of the differential tube at the end to counterclockwise. Pulling the direction to separate the micrometer screw from the fixed sleeve, rotating the fixed sleeve to make the “0” line coincide with the “0” line on the differential cylinder, and then using a small span wrench to lock the lock mother and rotate it repeatedly. With the ratchet wheel, when the both ends of the anvil and the micrometer screw are against the table, see if the "0" of the two sleeves is rewritten. If they are not coincident, correct them again. This correction is carried out two or three times.
5. When measuring, do not turn the differential simplification quickly to prevent the end face of the spindle from colliding with the device under test, and accelerate the wear of the contact surface.
6. When adjusting the micrometer within a large range, the differential cylinder should be rotated instead of rotating the ratchet. Only when both ends of the anvil and the micrometer screw are in rapid contact, the ratchet is rotated to measure. This saves time and prevents Ratchet's early wear. When returning the ruler, the differential cylinder should be rotated instead of rotating the back cover and ratchet to prevent the back cover from loosening and affecting the "0" position.
7, in order to eliminate the measurement error, when measuring the same data, can be measured several times, and then take the average value.
8. When measuring, you can gently shake the dry-scale ruler and the device under test to make good contact, and pay attention to whether the contact position of the micrometer and the workpiece is correct.
