The two stations of the **Deerfield-Bannockburn Fire Protection District** in Division 3 were last updated sometime last year, but several apparatus listings had placeholders for missing equipment. Recently, the department received a **2009 Pierce Arrow XT** engine, which has now been added to their records. All images for **Station 20** have been updated to reflect the current status of the fleet.
Station 20 is equipped with two ambulances, two engines, a ladder truck, a rescue squad, a battalion chief unit, and a utility vehicle (not pictured). The primary engine currently assigned to Engine 20R is a **1991 Pierce Arrow**, which serves as a backup while the department undergoes paint repairs on its pair of **2002 Pierce Dash** engines over the summer.
Engine 19 and the upcoming Engine 20R are sister units that will be sent out for body work one at a time. Once both are back in service, the 1991 Pierce Arrow will be sold, and the 2002 Pierce Dash that was previously assigned to Engine 20 will be reclassified as Engine 20R.
Two new photos have been added to the station’s profile. The first shows the **2009 Pierce Arrow XT**, the department's newest engine, captured by Larry Shapiro. Another image features the **2002 Pierce Dash**, which is currently undergoing body work and will soon become Engine 20R. Lastly, a third photo highlights the **1991 Pierce Arrow** that is currently serving as Engine 20R until the newer units return to service.
