A thermal dilatometer is an instrument that measures the dimensional change of a sample as a function of temperature or time when the temperature program and load force are close to zero.

The thermal dilatometer can measure solids, molten metals, powders, coatings and other samples.

Dilatometer is widely used in inorganic ceramics, metal materials, plastic polymers, construction materials, coating materials, refractory materials, composite materials and other fields.

Thermal expansion instrument operating procedures:

1. Turn on the instrument, circulating water bath, and computer power. About 2 hours after starting up, you can start the sample test.

2. Open the DIL402PC measurement software. 3. Before measuring the deformation of the test piece, the measurement frame must be calibrated on the standard rod to align the dial indicator to zero (or to note the scale value of the dial).

4. Wipe the two ends of the prepared specimen clean, and then place it on the workbench, put the calibrated measurement frame on the test piece, and move the measurement frame left and right so that the head of the test piece and the measurement head of the measurement frame are accurate. Contact, then you can read on the dial indicator, note the scale value on the dial.

5. If the experiment is not continuous or the experiment lasts longer, the measurement frame must be calibrated on the standard rod prior to testing. 6. Sample tester operation: Open the purge gas and place the sample in the furnace and close the furnace. .

Test software operation: Open - select the existing baseline test results (select temperature correction) - select "correct + sample" mode - set the test conditions (test conditions should be consistent with the standard test conditions) - save. Start measuring to the end.

Thermal expansion meter considerations:

1. The purge gas must be turned on during use, use nitrogen at normal temperature, and use helium at low temperature.

2. The sample can not touch the temperature sensor in the furnace body;

3. The initial user must complete the measurement under the guidance of the manager;

4. When replacing the cooling medium (liquid nitrogen), first release the pressure in the container;

5. Avoid collision test bench during testing;

6. Empty U disk must be used when copying data;

7. The bracket is fragile and use with care.
