On December 18, the Shanxi Metrology Institute successfully completed the acceptance of five science and technology projects by the expert panel from the Science and Technology Department of the State Administration of Market Supervision. These projects mark a significant step forward in advancing metrological research and technological innovation in the region.
Among the five successful projects, the "Research on Ventilator Testing Equipment and Testing Technology" has developed a comprehensive set of ventilator testing equipment capable of conducting full-performance tests on over 20 types of ventilators, including axial and centrifugal models. With a maximum diameter of up to 5 meters, this project also contributed to the development of the national standard "Ventilator Energy Efficiency Measurement and Testing Rules," filling a critical gap in testing standards.
The "Development of Explosion-proof Test Equipment for Intelligent Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment" introduced an advanced explosion-proof test device along with a time-delay ignition system. This project achieved dynamic gas distribution and secured two utility model patents, as well as published two scientific papers.
Another notable project, "Study on the Correlation Model Between Measurement and Production Quality in the Production Process," applied system theory to build and enhance mechanisms for enterprise value transfer, measurement management, and measurement technology innovation. The goal is to help enterprises allocate measurement resources more efficiently, thereby improving product quality.
The "Research on Evaluation of Electromagnetic Compatibility Radiation Immunity Test Results" led to the development of an evaluation device that enhances the rigor and standardization of electromagnetic compatibility radiation immunity testing.
Finally, the "Development of a New Type of Superimposed Force Standard Machine" resulted in a machine capable of handling forces between 0.1 and 10 MN, meeting traceability needs for enterprises and technical service organizations.
These five projects not only strengthened the scientific and technological capabilities of the Shanxi Metrology Institute but also laid a solid foundation for future innovation. Moving forward, the institute will focus on promoting the application and transformation of these research outcomes, providing strong technical support for the sustainable development of Shanxi’s resource-based economy.
